Meet Stefania + Maria

Hello! We’re Stefania + Maria, Co-Founders of Styled Social. We’ve been laughing and loving life together since childhood, but it wasn’t until later in life that we realized we shared the same passion for creating unforgettable events. Each event we take on is special to us and we relish in the opportunity to create unique moments for each of our clients.

Because we never really see ourselves the way others do, we wrote each other’s bios in order to provide a more meaningful snapshot of who we are…

This is Stefania

I’ve never met a more generous person in my life. Generous with her time, generous with her belongings, but most importantly, generous with her heart. She loves her family & friends at an unprecedented level. She would do absolutely anything for her daughter Alessandra, her son Milan & her husband Mike. ANYTHING.

Stefania is the ‘doer’ out of the two of us. She can get 20 things knocked off our to-do list before lunchtime. She thrives under pressure, which is a great quality in this industry. She is also insanely creative. When she walks into any space you can instantly see her face light up as she describes how she would transform the room. It’s like magic.

When we first started this venture together I was amazed to see how self-motivated Stefania really was. While working part-time while being a full-time mother, she still managed to go back to school and complete her WPIC (Wedding Planners Institute of Canada) Certificate. Not because anyone asks to see it, but because she genuinely wants to be the best in her field. 

Stefania knows a lot of people, and it’s not just because of her Italian background! You don’t just ‘cross’ paths with a woman like Stefania. You hold on tight & you never let go.

Maria has a way with people. It’s an instant connection. It doesn’t matter whether she’s speaking to you on the phone, conversing via email or looking you in the eyes. I promise, you’ll love and trust her instantly.

She has a way with words. Writing them. Speaking them. Meaning every kind thing she says about you, and making you believe them too. She lifts people up. ⠀

Whenever an issue arises at a function you’ll hear me calling her name. That’s her domain. I’m on the sidelines watching in awe as she diffuses the situation, fixes the problem and is planning a lunch date with the culprit. It’s not a tactic. It’s just who she is.

She’s the same way with her kids, Logan and Gabriel. So patient and understanding. She doesn’t lose her cool, doesn’t yell. She just uses her words and asks them to do the same. It’s beautiful to watch her and her husband, Kevin, raise such strong but empathetic little men.

Maria is somehow always ‘on’. You’ll wonder how she gets it all done (accomplished business woman, mother, wife, attention to fitness & healthy eating, loyal to family & friends...) and STILL has a smile on her face while looking polished. I don’t have the answer to that, but I know I love being around it.
